Customer Terms and Conditions

FoodLoot Ventures
Effective Date: 27 February 2026
Last Updated: 27 February 2026

These Terms apply to customers using the FoodLoot Platform. If you are registering as a food vendor, please refer to the Vendor Agreement instead.

1. Agreement to These Terms

By creating an account or placing a reservation on FoodLoot, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

These Terms are a legally binding agreement between you and FoodLoot Ventures, a company based in Karachi, Pakistan.

2. What FoodLoot Is — and Is Not

2.1 FoodLoot as an Intermediary

FoodLoot is a food rescue marketplace. We connect customers with food businesses ("Vendors") that have surplus food available at discounted prices. We are a technology intermediary only.

FoodLoot does not:

The purchase contract is between you and the Vendor. FoodLoot facilitates discovery, payment, and collection verification — nothing more.

2.2 The "Loot Bag" Model

Deals on FoodLoot are surplus food bags. The contents of each bag are variable and determined entirely by what the Vendor has available as surplus on a given day.

By reserving a deal, you accept that:

3. Your Account

3.1 Age Requirements

By creating an account, you confirm you meet the applicable age requirement.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@foodlootpk.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

3.3 One Account Per Person

You may hold only one customer account. Creating multiple accounts to abuse promotions, manipulate ratings, or circumvent restrictions is prohibited and will result in permanent termination of all accounts.

3.4 Account Suspension and Appeals

FoodLoot reviews each case individually. We will generally notify you before suspending your account unless immediate action is required to protect users or the Platform. If your account is suspended, you may appeal by emailing support@foodlootpk.com. Our decision on appeals is final.

4. Reservations and Collection

4.1 Placing a Reservation

When you place a reservation ("Reservation"):

4.2 Collecting Your Order

4.3 No-Shows

Repeated no-shows negatively impact Vendors. FoodLoot monitors patterns and may restrict your ability to place future Reservations if no-shows are identified.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

5.1 Cancellation Window

You may cancel a Reservation within 60 seconds of placing it for a full automatic refund. After the 60-second window, cancellations are not permitted and no automatic refund will be issued.

5.2 Discretionary Refunds

FoodLoot does not guarantee refunds beyond the 60-second window. However, a refund may be considered at FoodLoot's sole discretion in the following circumstances:

To request a refund, email support@foodlootpk.com with your order ID within 48 hours of the incident. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method. Our decision on discretionary refunds is final.

6. Food Safety and Allergens

6.1 FoodLoot Is Not Responsible for the Food

FoodLoot does not prepare, handle, or control any food sold through the Platform. All liability for food quality, safety, freshness, and allergen content rests entirely with the Vendor who prepared and provided it.

6.2 Allergen Warning

Deals on FoodLoot are surprise surplus bags. Specific contents, ingredients, and allergens cannot always be confirmed in advance.

If you have a food allergy, intolerance, or dietary restriction:

6.3 Complaints Process

If you experience a food quality or safety issue:

1. Contact the Vendor first — they are solely responsible for the food they provided
2. If unresolved, email support@foodlootpk.com within 24 hours of collection with:

FoodLoot will review the complaint, engage with the Vendor, and determine at our sole discretion whether any action (including a goodwill refund or vendor review) is appropriate. FoodLoot's involvement does not constitute an admission of liability or any obligation to compensate for illness, injury, or consequential loss.

7. Payments

All payments are processed through a third-party PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. FoodLoot does not store your card details.

All transactions are in Pakistani Rupees (PKR). You are responsible for ensuring payment details are accurate and sufficient funds are available.

Initiating a chargeback for an order that was legitimately fulfilled by a Vendor constitutes a breach of these Terms and may result in account suspension.

8. Your Responsibilities

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Pakistani law, FoodLoot Ventures is not liable for:
