These Terms apply to customers using the FoodLoot Platform. If you are registering as a food vendor, please refer to the Vendor Agreement instead.

Plain English Summary

FoodLoot connects you with vendors selling surplus food. You collect in person using a QR code. Deals are loot bags — contents vary daily. Pay using your FoodLoot Wallet, Neem, or both. All reservations are final — contact support for exceptional circumstances. Vendors are 100% responsible for food safety. FoodLoot is an intermediary and is not liable for food quality, allergens, or illness.

Allergen Warning

If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, contact the vendor directly before ordering. Bag contents cannot always be confirmed in advance.


1. Agreement to These Terms

By creating an account or placing a reservation on FoodLoot, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These Terms are a legally binding agreement between you and FoodLoot Ventures, a company based in Karachi, Pakistan.


2. What FoodLoot Is — and Is Not

FoodLoot is a food rescue marketplace and technology intermediary. We connect customers with Vendors that have surplus food — we do not prepare, handle, own, or deliver any food.

FoodLoot Does Not:

The purchase contract is between you and the Vendor. FoodLoot is not a party to it.

The "Loot Bag" Model

Deals on FoodLoot are surplus food bags. Contents are variable, determined by what the Vendor has available on the day. By reserving, you accept that:


3. Your Account

Age Requirements

Account Security

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@foodlootpk.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

One Account Per Person

You may hold only one customer account. Creating multiple accounts to abuse promotions, manipulate ratings, or circumvent restrictions is prohibited and will result in permanent termination of all accounts.

Suspension and Appeals

FoodLoot reviews each case individually. If your account is suspended, you may appeal by emailing support@foodlootpk.com. Our decision on appeals is final.


4. Reservations and Collection

Placing a Reservation

When you reserve a deal, you are entering into a purchase agreement with the Vendor — not FoodLoot. Your Reservation is confirmed upon successful payment. You are purchasing a variable surplus bag — see Section 2.

Collecting Your Order

Orders must be collected in person during the stated pickup window. Show your QR code (or last four characters of your order ID) for the Vendor to verify before handover.

No-Shows

Failing to collect within the pickup window results in a No Show — no refund is issued. The Vendor has fulfilled their obligation by preparing and holding your order. Repeated no-shows may restrict your ability to place future Reservations.


5. Cancellations and Refunds

All Reservations are final. Once a Reservation is confirmed, it cannot be cancelled by the customer.

If you experience an unforeseen circumstance that prevents you from collecting your order, contact us at support@foodlootpk.com with your order ID. FoodLoot may, at its sole discretion, issue a refund in exceptional cases — for example, where:

How Refunds Are Processed

If a refund is approved, the Wallet portion of your payment is credited back to your FoodLoot Wallet balance. If the original payment included a Neem instalment, the Neem portion is reversed separately through Neem. Refunds are typically processed within 1–3 business days. Our decision on refund requests is final.


6. Food Safety and Allergens

FoodLoot Is Not Responsible for the Food

FoodLoot does not prepare, handle, or control any food. All liability for food quality, safety, freshness, and allergens rests entirely with the Vendor.

Allergen Warning

Deals are surprise surplus bags — specific contents and allergens cannot always be confirmed in advance. If you have a food allergy, intolerance, or dietary restriction, contact the Vendor directly before placing a Reservation. FoodLoot accepts no responsibility for any allergic reaction, illness, or adverse health outcome from food purchased through the Platform.

Complaints Process

  1. Contact the Vendor first — they are solely responsible for the food
  2. If unresolved, email support@foodlootpk.com within 24 hours of collection with your order ID, description, and photo evidence

FoodLoot will review the complaint and engage with the Vendor. We may issue a goodwill refund or take action against the Vendor at our sole discretion. Our involvement is not an admission of liability.


7. Payments

All transactions are in Pakistani Rupees (PKR).

Payment Methods

FoodLoot offers the following payment methods:

FoodLoot does not store your card details. Payment processing is handled by PCI-DSS compliant third-party processors.

Promo Codes

FoodLoot may offer promotional discount codes from time to time. Promo codes are subject to specific conditions (expiry date, minimum order value, usage limits) communicated at the time of issue. Promo codes have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may be revoked at any time. Abuse of promo codes (including creating multiple accounts) will result in account suspension.

Initiating a chargeback for an order that was legitimately fulfilled by a Vendor constitutes a breach of these Terms and may result in account suspension.


8. Your Responsibilities

You must not use FoodLoot to:


9. Ratings and Reviews

After collecting an order, you may be prompted to rate your experience across categories including collection experience, food quality, variety, and quantity. You may also leave an optional comment.

Ratings must reflect your genuine experience. Submitting false, misleading, or defamatory ratings is prohibited and may result in account suspension. By submitting a rating, you grant FoodLoot a non-exclusive licence to display it on the Platform. Ratings may be anonymised and retained after account deletion.


10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Pakistani law, FoodLoot Ventures is not liable for:

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to that claim.


11. Governing Law and Contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Karachi, Pakistan.

Before pursuing legal action, please contact us at support@foodlootpk.com — we commit to responding in good faith within 30 days.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use after changes constitutes your acceptance.
